After having taught language, literature and composition courses for nearly a decade from 1991 to 2000 at the universities of Washington and Wisconsin, Dr. Elizabeth de Noma began work in the field of Information Technology in 2000, eventually working for Microsoft on the Windows Server, IT Professional, and Windows Digital Media Web sites. She was also the editor from 2003-2005 for the Windows Platform News, a publication that went out to 600,000 people worldwide, bringing the latest news on the world of the Windows operating system. In 2006 she began her tenure as Content Manager for Websters Multimedia Inc. in North America, managing a team devoted to Microsoft Encarta and other educational initiatives, online Answers work (for Windows Live Search), and reference media.
